3. Candidates’ Night
Phil Buchanan moderated the discussion, consisting of opening statements from the four candidates – incumbents Joan Bertsch, Jack McClellan and Jack Siedman, and challenger Cabe Silverhame.
There were no objections to the candidates making their statements in order of reverse seniority. Silverhame spoke first, followed by Bertsch, Siedman and McClellan. Following the opening statements, there was a period of questions and answers, followed by closing statements.
There were approximately 30 in attendance, including board and staff members.
