BOLINAS COMMUNITY PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT
Resolution No. 441
Amends Resolution No. 417 to State Policy Concerning Bulk Water Sales and to Increase the Required Cash Deposit to Cover Fully the Cost of Meter Replacement in the Event of Damage or Loss

BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Bolinas Community Public Utility District as follows:

1. Bulk sale of BCPUD municipal water, at a charge of 1.25 cents per gallon, is available through the hydrant at the Bolinas Fire Protection District, 100 Mesa Road, or through such other hydrants as may be authorized, subject to the following conditions:

a. The BCPUD Manager has determined that there is adequate stored water.

b. Receipt by BCPUD of a $750 cash deposit.

c. Use of an approved backflow prevention device.

d. Use is metered by BCPUD.

e. Use clearly serves the public interest and is within Bolinas Fire Protection District boundaries. A public interest use will generally fall into one of the following categories:

2. All bulk sales of BCPUD municipal water in excess of 1,200 gallons, meeting the conditions in section 1 above, must be pre-approved by the Board of Directors unless emergency circumstances dictate otherwise.

IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that this resolution was duly introduced and adopted by the Board of Directors of the Bolinas Community Public Utility District this 20th day of October, 1999, by the following vote:
