Establishing a Year-Round Meeting Start Time of 7:30 P.M. for all Regular Monthly Meetings of the BCPUD Board of Directors

    WHEREAS, the start time for the regular monthly meetings of the the Bolinas Community Public Utility District (“BCPUD”) Board of Directors presently is 7:30 p.m. during the months of November though March each year and 8:00 p.m. during the months of April through October.

    WHEREAS, the differentiated meeting start times were developed historically to accommodate the business demands of certain members of the Board of Directors.

    WHEREAS, those historic business demands are no longer applicable and there is no longer any specific need to retain a differentiated meeting start time schedule.

    WHEREAS, the Board of Directors finds that a differentiated meeting start time schedule causes confusion in the community and that a consistent meeting start time would improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the monthly meetings.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the BCPUD Board of Directors that all of its regular monthly meetings shall commence at 7:30 p.m., effective immediately.

this 21st day of  March, 2007.
