2026 ELECTION NEWS! DEADLINES FOR BCPUD BOARD OF DIRECTORS CANDIDACY!
The terms of three BCPUD Directors expire this year. If you would like to run for one of these seats in the November 3, 2026 election, you must declare your candidacy during the filing period, which opens July 13, 2026 and closes August 7, 2026. If either of the three BCPUD Directors decide not to run, the filing period (for non-incumbents only) will be extended through August 12, 2026.

After you submit this application (on-line) candidate documents will be delivered to you via email or regular mail.
FYI, per the County Website, here are additional important deadlines related to November’s election:
- August 7, 2026: Last day to submit measures for placement on the November ballot
- August 12, 2026: Last day to withdraw a measure from the ballot
- August 17, 2026: Last day to submit or withdraw ballot arguments
- August 24, 2026: Last day to submit rebuttal arguments
In each case, the pertinent documents must be received by the County’s Election Office by 4:30 p.m. on the deadline date.
